Bolivia, a country which, despite its plentiful forests and mineral resources is one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. The spiritual poverty in Bolivia is also acute. Notwithstanding the fact that 95% of the population declare themselves Catholic, there is a worryingly small number of priests and religious vocations in the country, combined with an increasing spread of personality based sects.
