Located on the west side of Central Africa, the Republic of Cameroon has one of the strongest economic performances in the continent. This economic growth has been possible thanks to a stable political scenario. A country extremely rich in natural resources that nevertheless has one third of its population living below international poverty threshold. Bishop Andrew Fanye Nkea, of the Diocese of Mamfe grew up in a polygamist family. His personal story is a backdrop to understand the reality of the Church in Cameroon.
