Nigeria is Africa´s most populated country, out of the 160 Million Nigerians; 25 million are Catholics, the largest Catholic population in the continent. This country is the largest African economy and is its leading oil producer. In recent years, the country has been overshadowed by violence perpetrated by extremist group. The political scenario faces constant challenges due to the extreme inequality of wealth distribution. Jonas Soto interviews His Excellency, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama from the Archdiocese of Jos, in central Nigeria to talk about the realities of the Church in this country.
