Father Augin H. Dawood explains, how important it was to build a chapel in St. Mary’s IPD Camp in Baghdad. After ISIS had bombed Mosul, the camp was built for 135 families of the Niniveh plains, who hope to go back to their villages one day.
“We want to show everyone… that we have roots in this land, that we have decided to stay in this land – by the help of Jesus. … We need the prayers of the church and other means to survive here.” (Fr. Dawood)
